The Corporate Partnerships team seeks to form mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships with corporations that can offer reach and revenue to support this organization’s brand and its organizational priorities. The Corporate Partnerships Team is comprised of a New Business Unit and an Account Management Unit. The Director position focuses on specifically raising funds to support the organization’s health programming. Working in collaboration with the Vice President of Business Development, the Vice President of Health Programs and other departments as required, this position will be responsible for managing all strategies and activities for corporate donor cultivation and solicitations focused on Health.
Design and execute an annual development strategy to annually secure and generate $1-3MM match funds toward the 2020 $25MM goal;
Identify, develop and foster relationships with potential donors and companies to build out a robust long-term new business pipeline;
Prepare grants, statements of work, presentations/proposals and other requests to solicit financial support along with product donations;
Devise concepts and work cross-functionally to develop innovative campaigns and programs to motivate giving;
Collaborate with functional program leads within the health department on key prospects and develop cultivation strategies;
Build relationships with the organization’s state chapter leadership to grow local partnerships to the national or international levels;
Develop, monitor and forecast new partnerships and ensure all leads/contacts/status are documented in donor management system while providing weekly updates on progress against targets;
Ability to negotiate complex and diverse giving structures/programs and facilitate meaningful donor relationships and effective donation placement;
Expand current partnerships with existing accounts by introducing new opportunities and benefits packages;
Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive broader health philanthropic organizations and reactions from accounts.

Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5- 7 years in a professional setting, such as marketing, sales, consulting, or fundraising role or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated success driving revenue growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Demonstrated ability to identify donors and cultivate relationships leading to substantial commitments with an exceptional ability to close deals.
Experience working with both corporate foundations and sponsorship divisions
Strong organizational and communication skills.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Preferred experience with corporate social responsibility and/or corporate philanthropic programs.
Working knowledge and background of the health, pharmaceutical or similar sectors.
Working knowledge and background of federated non-profit organizational structures.
Fluency with all Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
