Sidwell Friends School, an independent coeducational Quaker day school in Washington DC, seeks applications for an Assistant Director of Donor Relations. The Assistant Director reports directly to the Director of Development for Alumni & Leadership Programs and will be instrumental to the success of an aspirational, comprehensive campaign currently in its quiet phase. In collaboration with the Director of Development, the Assistant Director of Donor Relations will oversee and manage the donor relations and stewardship program to ensure constituents and donors at every level receive appropriate stewardship and recognition.
A bachelor’s degree is required, masters preferred. Strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail are also necessary. This is an opportunity for a creative self-starter with high energy and a serious commitment to donor-centered philanthropy to offer support in a fast-paced development office.
