AFP U.S. Foundation for Philanthropy is expanding its fundraising to new, aligned prospective donors who have an interest in supporting the charitable and non-profit sector. To support this growth, the Foundation is seeking supplemental contract or consulting support for its fundraising program in support of its special initiatives.
AFP Foundation for Philanthropy has identified the following goals:

The Foundation requires a fund development contractor or consultant to support its efforts in raising funds for its strategic priorities and in supporting stewardship efforts with specific donors to the Foundation. Requirements include:
Work closely with volunteer Board members to develop and maintain the structure and follow-up necessary for project funding success;
Coordinate and develop proposals and follow-up either independently or in concert with volunteer committees and staff;
Liaise with prospective, current and past donors to the Foundation, and coordinate Board Member stewardship of donors
Produce appropriate stewardship materials for selected contributors and deliver as needed;
Develop and supplement prospect research as required;
Attend (via conference call) Committee meetings (approximately every two months);
Location is flexible.
Provide up to 20 hours per month for the above role.
An overview of your company/skills and any relevant experience;
A description of 3 projects, employers or clients that reflects your alignment with the project
Portfolio samples of Case and Proposal writing
Names and contact information for a minimum of 3 current references;
A member of the successful firm and/or the respondent should be an AFP Member in good standing.
