POSITION SUMMARY: Leads the cultivation and stewardship efforts of the development division to maintain a strong pipeline of individual, corporate, government, and foundation funders. This position is responsible and will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Enters donations and other relevant donor information into Raiser’s Edge.
Utilizes donor information to generate queries and reports to inform stewardship activities.
Completes donor acknowledgements, including the printing, stuffing, and mailing of acknowledgements in a timely manner.
Works with team to reconcile Raisers Edge with accounting to ensure development revenue matches deposit amounts from accounting.
Donor Cultivation & Stewardship
Serves as lead staff for donor stewardship events
Creates, with input from marketing team, all produced printed materials for the Division, including: newsletters, program updates, cards, etc.
Manages stewardship and cultivation activities and calendar.
Monitors external donation portals to ensure prompt acknowledgement, including: Benevity, United Way, and Network for Good.
Remains up-to-date on industry best practices and trends for donor retention.
Manages Round-Up Storewide fundraising campaign.
Manages all logistics, celebrations, and weekly reporting with regard to the GGW Round-Up Campaigns.
Serves as primary contact and coordinates volunteer events for corporate and/or individual supporters and partners.
Other duties as assigned.
*This position requires use of personal vehicle for occasional travel to and from off-site location through the DC metropolitan area.

Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Experience at Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM software.
1-2 years of impeccable fundraising experience.
Must provide excellent customer service and anticipate the needs of the team.
Proven organizational abilities, attention to detail and follow-through.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong editing and proofing skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with individuals and customers at all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information and address the needs of a diverse group of clients.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Expert at Raiser’s Edge.
Knowledge of Counterpoint Point of Sale system and reporting.
