NPCA’s “Trustees for the Parks” (TFP) mid-level giving program focuses on donors who give $1,000-$9,999 annually. The Associate Director will manage and execute on efforts specific to the $5,000-$9,999 donors and prospects within the program while collaborating with the Membership team who primarily manages $1,000 - $4,999 donors. The Associate Director will plan, develop, and execute cultivation activities, solicitations, and stewardship efforts to grow this group and identify qualified major donor prospects (making gifts of $10,000 and higher) for further cultivation and solicitation by major gift officers during the course of NPCA’s centennial fundraising campaign launched July 2018. Strategies for cultivation, solicitation and stewardship will include a blend of consistent, ongoing personalized outreach and direct marketing. H/She is expected to spend a significant portion of his/her time in direct contact with donors and prospects, mostly by phone and written correspondence with occasional local in-person visits or meetings as necessary. H/She will coordinate with staff across the organization to grow the program’s revenue and number of donors at this level.
