The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, the largest research institute focusing solely on the Middle East, seeks a Development Operations Manager with a passion for development, a keen interest in the Middle East, and an impressive record of accomplishment to join our development team.
The Development Operations Manager, an integral contributor to the Institute’s development strategy, will work with donors and professionals to organize the operations of our national development office and ensure the integrity of all donor accounts.
The successful candidate will join the Institute as it pursues its 35th Anniversary Campaign and continues to expand to meet the contemporary needs of U.S. policy in the Middle East.
The Development Operations Manager should have experience in/facility with donor
relations, preparing and maintaining budgets, assisting with annual audits and tax returns, producing renewal statements as well as pledge and cash reports.
He/she will assist with the full range of development activities, such as foundation research, conferences, and special events, as well as other duties as assigned.
This position also maintains a calendar of foundation grant requests and reports and assists in their preparation.
The Development Operations Manager will report to the Director of Donor Relations.
