Who we are looking for:
Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation has an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Grants Coordinator to join their dynamic team. The Healthcare Grants Coordinator will provide program coordination and support to the healthcare company (HCC) relations team through grant submissions, oncology industry research, and relationship building with prospective healthcare company donors.
What you will do:
Solicit funding from healthcare companies through drafting and submitting grant requests; on average a minimum of 30-35 drafts and 20-25 submissions per month are expected in this position
Assist with the development and implementation of strategic goals, agendas, and logistics
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and serve as a point of contact for grant submissions
Update HCC team spreadsheets with accurate information and migrate information to Conquer Cancer CRM in a timely manner
Work with HCC team to create and update the HCC support opportunity document
Coordinate introductory calls and touch points with prospective donors
Work cross-departmentally to prepare grant/sponsorship support materials and provide logistic support to the HCC team for the CCC as needed
Provide administrative support to the HCC team as needed
What you will need to bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
3 years of experience in writing grant submissions, and management of grant administrative duties
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe software
Demonstrated project management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of health care system
Familiarity with Grants Database Software
Ability to write sound, concise and detailed documents
Ability to identify problems and find creative, effective solutions
Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and handle confidential materials
Strong organizational skills
Excellent judgment, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Ability to work across multiple departments/teams
